I had seen some videos from you tube that Mr adrian is writing task one in one paraghrap then when i started to watch videos here from full course i realised that Mr adrian is using an indention…. thus the video from here is the most recent or updated? which is beter?
Hi Aeourick, Good question. Yes, the videos on the site are the most recent. It is best if you write three paragraphs:
1. Introduction/Overview – Paraphrase the question with added detail and explain the one or two main features of the graph
2. Body – the detailed analyses
3. Summary – a clear summary of the main information that can be inferred from the graph.
Keep up the good studies.
I found something helpful on what are savouring techniques . From what I’ve seen, Mr. Adrian’s older videos sometimes used one-paragraph answers, but the newer method with indentation and separate paragraphs is more effective. Examiners look for structure, coherence, and clarity — so following the updated style will usually give you a better score.
@camosun344 Completely agree. We have updated the content since then. If you look at our most recent content and videos, you will see that we suggest three paragraphs for Task 1 Academic – Introduction, Overview and Body Paragraphs.
