Why do people download TikTok recipes instead of saving them in the app?

I always save cooking videos inside TikTok, but later half of them disappear somewhere in my bookmarks. Do people actually download recipe clips now?

The saved section becomes chaos pretty quickly, especially when you keep hundreds of random videos and can’t remember who posted what.

One time I was trying to remake a pasta recipe I’d seen before, and after scrolling forever I realized the creator had already deleted the video. Since then I’ve been keeping useful clips directly on my phone instead of trusting the app library too much. SnapTik made that way easier because the download takes less time than trying to search for the same video again later.
