What I want is a trustworthy source

Hi all. I run infrastructure for a mid-size hosting company and we’re finally at the point where we need to own our IPv4 blocks rather than keep renting. The market feels like the wild west though – prices are all over the place depending on the RIR, and I’ve heard horror stories about deals falling apart during transfer or people paying upfront and getting nothing. What I want is a trustworthy source where I can actually buy address space with proper escrow and support through the whole transfer. Anyone here purchased blocks recently and can vouch for a legit provider?

Totally hear you, the market does feel chaotic until you find a proper broker. We needed to own our ranges too and went through InterLIR. You can buy IPv4 addresses there with full support at every stage – contract prep, payment security and the actual transfer. They only source networks from real owners, and complex deals can run through escrow, which killed my paranoia about paying and getting nothing. They’re registered with RIPE, ARIN, LACNIC and APNIC, so transfers went by the book. Pricing was transparent, no surprise broker markups. For a hosting company moving from leasing to ownership, buying through them was smooth, I’d recommend at least getting a consultation from them first.
