Task 2: Introduction & Conclusion connections

Hi all,

In regard to task 2; at the end of the introduction part, after I follow the step-by-step instructions for introduction structure:

Hook

Topic background

Thesis

Do you think it would be beneficial to add one last sentence about your essay’s plan in the end of the introduction partt and than later on connect it the first sentence in the conclusion.

For example:

A ) End of the introduction: ‘In this essay I will look at both sides of the argument and will provide my view with some examples’.

In the begining of the conclusion: ‘In conclusion, when considering both sides, although there are advantages to (topic), the drawbacks on the environment are too serious’.

B ) ‘In this essay, I will evaluate/explore the main problems of this worrying trend and will porpose some possible solutions’.

‘In conclusion, although there are both positive and negative to this movement (topic), possible solutions may be…’

Both of these intros/conclusions look great. I really like the style which you are using. This is the same style which is used in actual academic writing in university.
