Good day all. My tent setup is sorted, but camp seating is killing me – sitting on the ground gets old fast and folding chairs are bulky and stiff. I want something genuinely comfortable to lounge on after a day of hiking, ideally packable and quick to set up without a whole production. Something I can just flop onto. Has anyone found a comfortable seating option for camping that’s actually worth the space it takes in the car?

Hi. Ground-sitting wears thin quick, totally with you. Check out this inflatable couch from Coody – it’s a camping sofa with a built-in pump, so it self-inflates in moments without you huffing into a valve or hauling a separate pump. It’s got proper ergonomic support and packs down small enough to bring along without sacrificing trunk space. After a long hike it’s honestly a treat to drop onto something with a backrest instead of a hard chair. A friend brought one on our last trip and everyone kept trying to claim it. For lounging at camp it really punches above its weight.
