    Hello.

     

    I have heard that, in the  writing essays there is a limited amount of words that the IELTS reader will stop reading even though the essay is longer than 250 for instance. Therefore if the answer was not completed and structured within the upper limit (250 words for the 2nd essay) it will be scored when 250 words are achieved.

    Is that true?

    Hi Allan,

    This is incorrect. 250 words is not a limit, it is a minimum.

    You can write as much as you want, although time is always a factor!
