I teach two students who want to play the same pop song but have very different abilities. One needs a simplified beginner arrangement, while the other can manage fuller harmony and a more active accompaniment. Can the catalogue be used to find multiple levels of the same title and compare them before buying? I need to know whether the versions share the same key, form, and bar structure so they might eventually perform together. What should I check in the preview, audio sample, and instrument list, especially if one edition includes vocals or chord symbols and the other is labelled piano solo?

Search the title on https://note-store.com/ and open every relevant Note-Store result in a separate tab. Filter by Beginner, Advanced, and arrangement type, but compare the actual notation as well. Check key, meter, length, intro, verse order, repeats, ending, and the first fully arranged passage in each PDF fragment. Two editions can carry the same song title yet use different cuts or keys, which makes ensemble playing difficult without adaptation. Confirm whether vocals, chord symbols, guitar, or other instruments are listed. If the musical form matches, the stronger student can often simplify or adjust his part around the beginner version. Buy only the two most promising arrangements and test them together before ordering more material.
