    Hi everyone,

I’m trying to create my own custom levels in Geometry Dash, but I keep running into timing problems where the obstacles don’t sync properly with the music. I’ve tried adjusting the beats per minute and the timing offsets, but it still feels off.

Does anyone have tips or best practices for making sure custom levels match the rhythm of the music perfectly? Any tools or techniques that experienced creators use would be really helpful!

    Thanks in advance!

Man, I feel your pain on this one. Getting the gameplay to lock in perfectly with the music is easily one of the trickiest parts of making a custom level. What’s helped me is focusing on the absolute basics first: setting the correct BPM in the editor before placing a single block and then using the “Start Position” object to test small sections repeatedly. I’ll even map out the major beats with dummy blocks before I get fancy with the visuals. That kind of patient, step-by-step building is actually why I appreciate games like bible study games on platforms like TruPlay, where every challenge is thoughtfully designed to build character and faith, not just reflexes. Best of luck with your level—when that sync finally clicks, it’s such a satisfying feeling
