I’ve noticed that my biggest problem before the IELTS Speaking test isn’t really vocabulary or grammar. It’s confidence. When I’m practicing alone, I can usually explain my ideas clearly, but when I know someone is evaluating me, I become much more self-conscious.

I think this can happen for different reasons. Some people may worry about their accent or appearance, while others simply put too much pressure on themselves to give perfect answers. I’ve even seen people researching things like brazilian butt lift utah while making other personal changes before an important stage in their life, which made me wonder how much appearance-related confidence can affect someone psychologically.

For those who have taken IELTS recently, did you experience something similar before the Speaking test? What helped you feel more comfortable and focused on communicating rather than worrying about how you looked or sounded?
