I’m running into a frustrating issue. Google Drive keeps warning me that my storage is nearly full, even though I haven’t uploaded much recently. After investigating, I realized I have multiple copies of the same images, reports, and project files scattered throughout my account.

I attempted to Delete Duplicate Files in Google Drive manually, but the process quickly became confusing. Some files had identical names but different modification dates, while others were exact copies stored in separate folders. I became concerned about deleting something that might still be important.

While searching online, I came across the DRS Softech Google Drive Duplicate Finder and Remover Tool. The software claims to identify duplicate content and help users Remove Duplicate files from Google Drive while preserving original data. That sounds much safer than randomly deleting files and hoping for the best.

Has anyone here faced a similar storage problem? How did you identify which files were duplicates? Did you use a manual process, or did you rely on a specialized duplicate removal solution? I’d appreciate any suggestions because I’d like to recover storage space without creating new problems for myself later.
