I’m in a total panic right now. I just went down to the basement to grab a blanket and stepped into a huge puddle of water. It looks like a pipe near the main shut-off has started spraying, and even though I’ve turned the valve as hard as I can, it’s still leaking. I’ve been calling around, but everyone seems to be closed or just has an automated voicemail. We have a finished basement with a lot of electronics down there, and I’m terrified of the damage this is going to cause before morning. Does anyone know a reliable service in Windsor that actually answers the phone in the middle of the night?

That is a nightmare scenario! I had something similar happen during a cold snap a few years ago. You definitely don’t want to wait until 9 AM for someone to show up. When my laundry line burst at midnight, I found a 24 hour plumber windsor https://superiorplumbing.ca/windsor/ who was a total lifesaver. I was shocked that a real person actually answered the phone. They had a technician at my door in about 30 minutes. He was incredibly professional, stopped the leak immediately, and even helped me move some of my storage boxes away from the water. Their emergency service is top-notch and they didn’t take advantage of the situation with crazy hidden fees. Give them a call right now—they’ll get it sorted before your basement is ruined!

Thank you so much! I just called them and they are sending someone out immediately. I can finally stop trying to catch the water with towels. You’re a lifesaver!
