Recently I caught myself switching between too many apps to finish a single task, which ended up slowing me down rather than helping. I had timers in one place, documents in another, reminders in a third, and half my notes scattered around. It made me curious how people find the right balance so their tools help instead of getting in the way.

What worked for me was picking only the essentials and sticking to them for a few months to see what actually made a difference.I trimmed everything down until my workflow felt lighter, and then added back only what was truly useful.Somewhere in that cleanup process I opened https://www.spendbase.co/ to check which tools I was paying for unnecessarily, and it helped me focus on just the ones that genuinely improved my day. It was a nice shift from juggling too many platforms.

I’m not doing a big productivity overhaul myself right now, but I’ve seen a lot of people overwhelmed by having too many apps for simple tasks. Sometimes watching others simplify their routines gives good insight into what actually matters. It’s interesting how different people decide which tools stay and which ones get abandoned.
