Lately I’ve been completely burned out by my daily scroll through the news. It feels like every headline is yelling, every story is just outrage bait, and I end up more anxious than informed. I stumbled on this site, Digital News Hub, and it’s been a weirdly calm alternative. It just shows headlines from a ton of sites in a simple list format—no autoplay video, no screaming opinions, no algorithm feeding me rage. It lets me scan what’s happening and then actually choose what to read, instead of being manipulated into a reaction. It feels like using the internet 15 years ago.
Has anyone else found a plain-text style site like this? I think more of us need ways to stay informed without the mental toll. If you want to check out the one I’m using, it’s right here. Curious if it helps anyone else disconnect from the chaos.
