Academic vs General

Hi, I just bought the Academic full course, but I’m aiming for the General one. Are there too many differences and is there a way to change the course from Academic to General, or I can study with Academic and do the General one?

I Understand that is basically the same but Academic is a little more difficult in Writing and reading section. Listening is the same for both.
If you prepare for the academic I suppose when you take the general it would be easier.
