I started using crypto to pay for some of my hosting after reading that it offers more privacy than using a card, but I’m starting to question whether that’s really true in practice. Most crypto transactions are publicly visible on the blockchain, so unless you’re using something like Monero, you’re essentially creating a transparent record of every payment — just pseudonymous rather than anonymous. Compare that to paying by card, where at least the transaction is private between you and your bank. I’m wondering if the actual privacy benefit for something like PBN hosting is mostly a perception thing or if there’s a real operational security argument here that I’m missing. What’s the actual reason people prefer crypto for this kind of payment?

Privacy in link building operations is something a lot of people overlook until it becomes a problem. Separate IPs and different registrars mean nothing if you’re paying for everything with the same card. Found a solid walkthrough at payment for hosting using Crypto currency and it answered every question I had about the practical side of setting it up. The guide covers which wallets to use, how to stay anonymous through the payment chain, and which hosts actually support crypto without making it complicated. Implemented it across my network the same week.
