The biggest improvement for me came from practicing on a clean and stable Counter Strike 1.6 build together with regular aim training on classic servers. A lot of people underestimate how important a stable CS 1.6 installation is for accurate shooting because outdated configs, broken settings, or heavily modified clients can affect mouse responsiveness and recoil feeling. I had similar problems before and eventually installed a fresh version from CS Nation. After switching to that build, the game felt much smoother and aiming became far more consistent during matches. For practice, I recommend spending time on aim maps, learning spray patterns for AK-47 and M4A1, and focusing on crosshair placement instead of random spraying. Deathmatch servers also help a lot because they improve reaction speed and muscle memory quickly. Another important thing is keeping your settings consistent and avoiding constant sensitivity changes. With stable practice and a clean CS 1.6 setup, your shooting accuracy will improve much faster over time.
