I recently started using a jewelry magnetic tumbler in my workshop, and the results have been impressive. It does a great job of reaching small details and hard-to-polish areas that are difficult to finish by hand. After casting and filing, I place my pieces in the tumbler for a few hours, and they come out much cleaner and smoother. It also saves a lot of labor compared to manual polishing. While it doesn’t replace final finishing steps, it definitely improves efficiency and consistency. Has anyone tried different pin sizes or tumbling times for various types of jewelry?
