I mostly prefer pre-match bets because they give me more time to compare statistics, team news, and recent form before making a decision. Live betting can be exciting, but I find it easier to make emotional decisions when the game is already underway.
That said, live markets definitely have advantages. Sometimes you can spot momentum shifts, injuries, or tactical changes that aren’t reflected in the odds immediately. For experienced bettors who can stay disciplined, that can create some interesting opportunities.
For me, the best approach is a combination of both: pre-match for planning and value, with occasional live bets when I see something during the game that wasn’t obvious before kickoff.
