I think I just had the rudest awakening of my life. I jumped into the shower this morning only to be met with an icy blast of water. I went down to the basement to check the water heater, and there’s a small puddle around the base and a faint clicking sound coming from the unit. It’s about 9 years old, so I’m wondering if it’s even worth trying to fix at this point or if I should just look into getting a new one installed. Does anyone have experience with local specialists who won’t try to upsell me on a massive system I don’t need? I’m looking for someone honest and quick because cold showers are not my thing!
