I noticed that one corner of my patio gradually sinks every year, even though the rest of it remains perfectly flat. It’s frustrating because the unevenness isn’t dramatic, but it’s visible and annoying when you walk across it. I’m wondering whether the problem is soil settling, drainage issues, or poor edging — or maybe all three combined. I want to fix it without dismantling the entire patio.

I also saw that water tends to linger in that corner after rain, pooling near the border. It probably erodes the base slowly, causing the stones to shift. I experimented with minor adjustments, but nothing worked long-term — it just kept sinking a little each season.

While working on fixing that uneven corner, I checked out httрs://oakshs.ca/kleinburg-interlocking-services/ for advice on proper installation techniques. They showed me how small adjustments to the slope, reinforcing the edges, and properly compacting the base can stop the stones from sinking over time. After applying these methods, the patio now stays perfectly level even after heavy rain, and that troublesome corner blends seamlessly with the rest. It’s such a relief to see the whole area solid and stable at last.
