I completely agree that empowering LGBT students starts with inclusivity in both curriculum and school culture. Too often, young people only see stereotypes or casual terms like gay hookup in media, which doesn’t reflect the real challenges or identities of LGBT students. Schools that provide resources, safe spaces, and supportive educators make a huge difference in helping them feel valued and respected.
