What are a few important steps to keep in mind before your speaking exam, on the day of the test?

  1. Be direct, (don’t beat around the bush) Don’t use general statements and templates.

You MUST use English for 24-hours leading up to your speaking test, and especially on the day of your test. ***You should print out at least one speaking question practice script and take it with you to the exam. Hopefully, you will find another clever candidate who shows up early and you can practice with.
  3. Be confident about your exam. – Build confidence by speaking with other people at the exam center in English.

  5. Think of the examiner as your grandpa or grandma – they love you, they accept you, you have to speak loud and clear.
